Artistic Director - Marni Robson
Marni Robson has been teaching dance for more than 30 years. She has served as an artist-in-residence in many communities teaching curriculum through the arts. Formerly executive director of MainDance Projects Society in Vancouver, Marni comes from a professional dancing career. She was a founding member of Prowess DanceArts Collective in New York City and Lynx Performance in Los Angeles and San Diego. She choreographed the 60’s musical HAIR at the Lyceum Theatre in San Diego. Marni credits master teacher Erling Sunde, of the Royal Ballet of London, and Meryl Goldberg, Ed.D., for her teaching skills. She has served as an artist-in-residence with California Center for Arts and California State University at San Marcos. She has developed the ICanDance! curriculum and teaching methods. She loves optimism, sharing JOY, building community and helping children and their families grow through the art of dance.
